Pregnancy & Obstetric Care

Dr. Deosaran has extensive experience caring for women before and throughout pregnancy, including the management of high-risk pregnancies.

His obstetric experience includes pre-pregnancy counselling, antenatal care, ultrasound assessment throughout pregnancy, early fetal genetic testing, management of cervical insufficiency including cervical cerclage, normal and operative vaginal delivery, and Caesarean section.

This experience enables him to provide women and families with informed, individualised guidance throughout pregnancy, with particular attention to maternal wellbeing and the health of the developing baby.

Gynaecological Procedures & Surgery

A significant component of Dr. Deosaran's practice involves the investigation and procedural management of gynaecological conditions.

He is experienced in a range of office-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:

• Colposcopy
• Loop excision procedures for abnormal cervical tissue
• Endometrial sampling
• Hysteroscopy
• Saline infusion sonography
• Hysterosalpingography
• Insertion of intrauterine contraceptive devices

His surgical experience includes both open and laparoscopic approaches to procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy and the surgical treatment of endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy and pelvic pain.

He also performs hysteroscopic treatment of submucosal fibroids and endometrial polyps, as well as endometrial ablation.

Where clinically appropriate, his experience with minimally invasive techniques allows patients to explore treatment options that may reduce the recovery associated with more extensive surgery.

Fertility & Reproductive Health

Dr. Deosaran also has substantial experience in the assessment and management of fertility concerns.

His reproductive medicine experience includes evaluation of couples experiencing infertility, assessment of the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes, ovarian stimulation and monitoring, optimisation of the endometrium and intrauterine insemination.

He also has experience in the management of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

His additional clinical training included a rotation at the Centre for Human Reproduction in Houston, Texas, further complementing his experience in fertility and reproductive care.

Intimate Women's Health Procedures

Dr. Deosaran's surgical experience also extends to selected vulvovaginal procedures, including labiaplasty, vaginoplasty and clitoral hood reduction.

Training & Professional Background

Dr. Deosaran began his academic training with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Oklahoma State University before completing his medical degree at the Medical University of Pécs in Hungary.

He subsequently undertook his internship and further clinical rotations at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica, followed by specialist residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

During his specialist training, he also completed a clinical rotation in laparoscopic surgery at ZNA Stuivenberg Hospital in Antwerp, Belgium, under Professor Bruno Van Herendael.

His professional career in the Cayman Islands has included service as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Health Services Authority, where he also served as Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

He subsequently spent many years combining specialist clinical practice with medical leadership roles before joining Cayman Medical in January 2025.

In addition to his medical qualifications, Dr. Deosaran completed an LLB (Honours) through the Cayman Islands Law School and University of Liverpool, giving him an unusual additional academic background alongside his medical career.
